INTRODUCTION

VAPA Women’s Photography Exhibition on the occasion of 8th March 2023 Currently, VAPA female photographer is adding more and more members. Up to now, the force of female photographers in the country has over 80 sisters, joining in VAPA branches in all provinces and cities from Ha Giang to Ca Mau. The average age of the sisters is from 30 to 70. Especially, there are some sisters over the age of 80 who still participate in activities and

composing. Being a female photographer also has many difficulties because they have to take care of the housework and take care of the agency or company work... but their passion of photography, they still arrange work to dedicate their time to compose art photography. Recently, the VAPA’s Women Committee regularly organizes exhibitions to celebrate International Women’s Day. This year, 61 female authors submitted 244 compositions to the exhibition with free themes, reflecting all activities of women’s daily life and beautiful landscapes, people, domestic and international. The image of the country and people of Vietnam is depicted simply from the perspectives of female photographers but the worth thing is they use image expression techniques to portray the beauty of the women. The exhibition titled “The Beauty of the Country and People” is an overall picture depicting the portraits of mothers and sisters in daily life...
